a very tedious project that rendered outstanding results. Great work!
I would not be surprised if (Santa Fe) Tom awarded you several merits for your effort.

Eric, your personal record has been awarded ten merits for superb craftsmanship, knowledge, and patience, in reproducing zebra stripes on a sale model 900 Class diesel. Very, very fine work.
(I was tempted to exceed the maximum permissible number of merits which can be issued at any one time, but the General Manager informed me that ten is absolutely not to be exceeded if I intend to remain in my position as Superintendent of the High Plains Division [O Gauge])
That's the difference between you and me Eric. I can't publish super detailed pictures of my work without blushing.
You blush from all the compliments! Just Wow! Very nice job.
I'll keep practicing and refining my work. It's nice to see how it should be done.
Thanks for sharing.
BTW, where's those videos of the modern stuff SD70ACes??? This one is getting pretty close, ain't it?
What years would this one be modeled from???
Fantastic work!
Eric, come on!
It is so easy anyone well most people can do it.
There is more damage done by guys fumbling with the engine, and not knowing how to handle it. With your skillset, learning how to connect a few wires, getting the correct bulbs (LEDs) and resistors, would be a cakewalk.
If you ever have interest, Tony's Train exchange has some great and helpful tips and full support of their products.
Of course, there's always that Crazy Russian! ( sorry, whatever his nick-name is?)
That turned out great, Erik.
Now that's funny coming from the guy who has some fantastic skill sets and has done some great work.
Top drawer work Erik! Is this model for john?
Hey Erik, got a question on sequencing. You mentioned it still needs DCC etc. Will removing the shell to install electronics do any harm to your beautiful piece of work? Reason I ask, I'm trying to work up the nerve to start a similar zebra project on a small switcher. I was thinking of doing the electronics first. Would love to hear your thoughts.
I really admire your work Erik. The more I see of your work the more I am amazed. Also great pictures.
