This is the most exceptional factory-produced brass 3R passenger car I have seen. Overland Models produced the full scale 21” Ferdinand Magellan presidential cars in the 1990’s in 3R and 2R versions, and detailed for either the Truman era or the Regan era. This is a Truman era 3R car and features fully decorated interior, separately decorated floors, and furniture. The staterooms have beds, pillows, lavatories and commodes. The submarine hatch in the observation lounge roof opens (allowing POTUS to escape should the car ever be submerged or wrecked). It is fully lit with LEDs throughout, with lighted rear marker lamps and 3 LEDs in the platform ceiling. The undercarriage is fully detailed, including generators, brake lines, tanks, battery boxes, etc. The car is equipped with claw couplers at both ends. These are easily removed should one wish to install Kadees. I purchased this car from a forum regular in 2013 and it's had very little run time on my layout.
