Does any know if I could pair MTH 710 passenger cars with a 260E loco and tender combo?

They should look pretty nice with the 260. The 260 is a pretty good sized engine, almost the same as a 263.

The 260E, 255E and 263E are all the same size just different trim at different times.

When the 260E was introduced in 1930 it was matched with red 710s and 712 cars. In 1933/4 period the cars were blue.
