I have had a few requests for more short video clips of trains on my layout.

Fantastic Marty. Such a spectacular layout!!! Jim
Beautiful cars on a beautiful layout.
One more. My Welz cars live wire.

Very nice cars. As an avowed techno-peasant, I am in awe of all the electronics involved in your layout. I love engines with pantographs (especially GG-1's) but could never hope to build a live wire system.
Love em
Very Nice! Love those Metroliners!
Nice shots, Marty! Fantastic toy train action.

Always regretted not getting a set these. Nice video. Thanks for posting.
Marty, love the video but those MP54's are too quiet. I rode the prototypes and they were real rattle traps! Live catenary is great to see in action, there are very few in any scale that have it.
Beautiful Marty !!!!
Alex
Awesome!
Thanks guys. It is a toy train style but operates 100 percent. Alex, I am in need of a huge switch tower and you are going to get the job. We can converse about it at York with a couple of adult beverages.
Paul, I have some G motors. I will throw some clips out next Friday for you.
Very nice indeed, Marty!! I really like the Pennsy MP54 cars!
Being a juice Jack, I do like the hot wire!
Great stuff Marty. Elliot Welz really did some beautiful paint jobs.

Marty,
It just does not get any better than your layout !! It is magical to see.

Great-looking cars, Marty. I also spend a lot of time eyeballing your catenary (and that of Don 'ScaleRail') I've been collecting Marklin wires.
Very, very nice, Marty.
Beautiful, Marty. Wish I had known you a few years back when I was commuting from VA to Boston for 6 years.
Bob, I am very lucky to have you as a train friend.
Thank you, Marty. It is mutual.
Thanks allot Marty. I'm blaming you. You gave me the "E" BUG. It all started a few weeks ago with seeing your layout video's. It started with the chills, then a cold sweat, then the fever set in. The search began for a GG1 and any other E's that caught my eye. I never thought I would get hooked on Electrics. Well I went to the Allentown show this weekend and found some. Bought, not one, but two. So here I go on the high wire adventure. By the way, when does the fever break?

Sorry Dave, it doesn't... Just with GG-1's, you've got the tuscan version, the brunswick green, single stripe, five stripe, old rivets, and so on... and so on...
And, at some point, you will start thinking about an Acela. Welcome to the slippery slope - watch out for the banana peels
Forget these locos that look like diesels. Search for pix of old NYC, LIRR, & VGN locos, and there are some very unique designs. Then you can go to locos with trolley poles instead of pantographs and there's some really attractive (some really ugly, which makes them more attractive) ones.
OMG. I'm burning up. Come on YORK.
Dave, I will throw some more out Friday.
Thank's Marty very cool to see.
Great layout, thank you.
Marty,
Great stuff sir, well done!
PCRR/Dave
Its great to see the PRR under wire as it should be.
TOO COOL for words!
I never see photos MP 54s with trailer cars. The real consists, with every unit having a pantograph, must have been pretty fast.
Your MTH models look great and knowing they are running off the overhead, makes them that much more interesting.
Do all your cars in the consist have traction power or are some unpowered (but lit) traction wise?
Tom
Tom, the MTH MU sets came with one car powered with 2 motors. The most recent issue had the motoirs in a coach; I undertstand that earlier editions had the motors in the combo car. Two powered unit could be used if the operator were to use the DCS lashup feature
When I was 7 about 1960 my dad took me for a ride to I believe Paoli and when we left to return back to Philly the conductor told my dad that he is welcome to take me into the front vestibule which was a great adventure for me. I think it was on Thanksgiving evening. I also had a girlfriend when I was 17 that lived right near Merion Station and we rode them many times downtown.
