OH BOY...If I paid $275 for a Lionel 1946 boxcar you might be needing to dig me a hole in all that snow in your backyard, My family would have me committed !!  Especially since, like you, I already have one with the BROWN doors!  What a hoot!!

Hey friend, I know all us train guys are a ways past our youth...you be careful if you have to shovel all that snow.  Take it easy and don't work yourself into a heart attack...sorry if I am being "preachy" but I like talking to you and selfishly want to continue to do that

Here is a Westbrook Pennsy gondola I just got in the mail for $9.00 bucks. Ha some brass parts that have been put on and the trucks are sprung. Anybody have any history please and year made would be nice. Thanks

I am unfamiliar with Westbrook. Find it amusing that you're showing the Pennsy gondola with a NYC steamer with a clear logo behind it. 😂

Westbrook was a manufacturer of wood and metal kits in the 1950's that were similar to offerings from Walthers, All-Nation, and Athearn.  You can still find unbuilt kits online.  Nice find!
