Just a few pictures I took this morning while working on another project for the layout (that will be posted later when finished). Amazing what natural light can do to make the scenes more lifelike....
Thanks for looking!

Awesome pic's Alan!
Alan, that boat just really stands out for me!
Fantastic photos Alan!!!!
Thanks, Alex
Great photos Allan!!! A bit of good old natural light goes a long way for sure!! Thanks for sharing!! What kind of camera did you use?
Thanks guys!
Patrick...the camera is believe it or not....my smartphone. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4. I infrequently take pictures with my Nikon 35mm Digital since I seem to have the phone with me all the time!

Great pics, Alan.

Alan, how can any of us feel good about our layouts when we see your layout? You are the man when it comes to doing it right. I would kill to have your skills.
Thank you for posting.
Always great to see your layout!!! So cool.
It's amazing what the right lighting can do.... For a already amazing layout!!
Great shots Alan. Thank you for sharing them!
Thanks to all for the encouraging comments!
Alan
Beautiful! Thank you, Alan, for the indisputable evidence that natural lighting is the best kind.

What stood out for me was the shadows. The shadows made it so much more life-like...low morning sun creating those long shadows. Makes one understand that modeling is even more than scenery. Very nice pictures capturing a great layout.

Beautiful pictures ALAN, Well Done!!!!!
Nice pics. Really cool......
I had a couple of emails asking about how I might control damage from fading (UV) due to the sunlight. The windows were ordered with a UV tint in the glass. In addition, I have shades over the windows that allow only about half of the light to come through. Still, I am sure that over the long haul, some UV is going to get through. Over the past 8 years, I have not seen any fading...or at least not much that I can notice.
Thanks,
Alan
Love the Corvair Alan.
Alan, your pictures are fantastic! I really like how you put everything together.
Coach Joe....I found the Corvair locally, new in the box for $3.00!! It is one of my favorites...
Alan
Alan, As Ranger Rick observed the shadows in your photos are remarkable. They really distinguish your layout from almost all others. Neat Corvair, but remember they are "unsafe at any speed". Regards, Pat B.
Alan that's a steal for any O gauge car especially something so different from what is normally available.
Pat...so good to "hear" from you! Wish you two would come up and visit!
Joe...the place where I get my cars have a large variety at those prices. I had thought about making them available for others but by the time you pay shipping, it isn't worth it....and....he doesn't ship out or do ebay....just local sales is all he is interest in.
Alan
Thanks for the fabulous pictures, Alan. The quality of the pictures is excellent but it the scenes you've photographed that really make them stand out IMHO.
Alan, Yeah I am late to the show. Your pictures are just getting better every time you post. I am with lee on his comment. The depth of that picture is great. This just inspires us more in taking photos of our layouts and being more creative with what we have.. I know I've learned from you although my skills are nowhere even close to your league, let alone my layout.. Keep on resetting the bar.
