On December 4th, the DARE Model Railroad Club will be hosting it's annual holiday season open house. We are a half hour from downtown Pittsburgh, at 800 Venetia Road, Venetia, Pa. Look for the big red brick building with a community center sign out front. The club's prime exhibit is a massive recreation of the coal-hauling Montour Railroad in HO. The club also has a large DCS O and On30 layout modeling Western PA. We also just added a large G scale display thanks to a generous donation. Feel free to bring your DCS or TMCC engine to run on our layout. Food may be offered. I will post times at a future date.
