I posted previously that my gateman was not coming out of the house. After receiving instructions that the lighted pieces of track were drawing too munch voltage, I removed all but six pieces of lighted track from the layout. I am using an accessory activation track for the gateman house.
Once I took out the lighted track pieces this increased the voltage to the extent that the gateman exited the house when activated. For some unknown reason the gateman house now will light up when activated, but the gateman will not exit the house.
I am using the GW-180 transformer to power the layout. I have cleaned wheels on both the engine and coal car and also the activated accessory track rail pieces with out any change in the performance of the gateman.
Any thoughts.
