Was wondering if John or anyone else had pictures of their Conventional Polar Express Upgrades, Smoke Generator/Super Chuffer/Railsounds/CruiseCommander etc... Looks like a fun project. I have what looks like the one with the proper motor.

I don't actually have pictures, but I can tell you that I added the MTH fan driven smoke, the Cruise Commander Lite and the Railsounds Commander. Of course, I also used the Super-Chuffer and Chuff-Generator to round out the upgrade. I use a 10-pin MTH tether between the tender and locomotive so I have plenty of pins for signals.

Love the video, I was wondering where to get that 10 pin MTH connector. I’m guessing the commander board when in the loco and the rest in the tender? Oh, and was that a converted conventional whistle tender or the digital tender? I noticed the movie voice tracks.

Actually, the CC-Lite and the Railsounds Commander are all in the tender, the Super-Chuffer and Chuff-Generator are in the locomotive as it the upgraded smoke (obviously!).
I forgot the movie tracks, they're in the baggage car using my custom sound board.
Nice work, GRJ. Technology has much improved since you upgraded by PE several years ago. Hmmm.
Here's a link to my upgarde. I have everything stuff in the engine. I left the movie sounds in the tender.
I still have yet to install the railsounds board.
