picked this up at an estate sale today, in great shape. Thought it was a ZW till I got it home! Read that the VW came with the electronic set. Was it a single sell item as well? I was amazed by its condition! Even the cord wasn't cracked

I wouldn't have. I picked up a spare Type V (with box) at our local antique shop last year for the same price.
Nice find. I don't think VW transformers are all that common.
I have a VW that my grandparents gave me new way back when.
It's exactly like a ZW - just fewer watts.
An excellent buy at $30 if in good shape.

I've heard of sellers will swap a ZW plate onto to a VW to get more out of it.
