I have tried to post pictures with my Mac desktop computer without a lot of success. When I publish, only the file numbers for the pictures show up. I have looked for any steps I am missing and there are none available. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks—Andy

Are you first exporting the Pics from Photos into a file on the desktop called (lemme look) "exported pics"? Then hit "add attachments" in the add reply box (bottom right corner)? When you do that another box should open with thumbnails of all the pics in the file. Click one and click "choose" and a new box should appear into which the pic is uploaded? Wait until it is done uploading, then hit "finished" after first clicking "add picture to body".
Click Add Attachments in the post and search for your photos (I usually click Photos under media in the left hand tool bar). Let the photo upload process complete, and make sure to click the checkbox (seen below) before clicking finished.

Thanks for the tips.

Works now! Let’s see that layout... post videos the same way, takes longer to upload, and, there is some further processing after you hit “post reply”.
I'm not sure why I do not get the box that says add attachment. Once the picture is uploaded successfully, mu only option is 'Finished". Are my setting messed up?
I export my pictures from iPhoto to Home in Finder. Then when you click add attachment to a post you will automatically see the finder screen come up. Click the photo you want attached and then go down to the right hand corner and click Choose.
Be sure to click on full size when the photo has finished being transferred to these forums.
