How many power drops? Is the Fastrack new or used?
To add to what John said: Transformer type/size? Wire guage?
Ultimately you'll want to invest in a voltmeter to really know whats going on.
They are inexpensive ones that work well, I have this one:

Don't the fast track connections get bent out after repeated use? Is this track older? If so, were the pins clean? Did you re-crimp the ends in to make tighter joints?
Like suggested above, you may need more than one track connection for good power distribution. The size of the wire matters too. Any track brand has it's own flaws and all of them need good power connections.
Thank you all!I will buy a voltmeter and add another power supply, which I already have and will also check and recrimp the connection tabs on the track.you have all been very helpful and I sincerely appreciate it Thanks,

How do you plan to add another power supply? Hooking two together is a definite " no no". Are you running conventional or command?
You may not need to add another power supply at all.
What you may need to do is just add more connection points ("power drops") from your existing transformer to several points along your track, i.e., quarter-way around; half-way; three quarters, etc.
So, again, is this track used? It sounds like it is. If you'd like help, it would be good to reply with some answers. No one is blaming you, we just wish to help.
How many track power connections did you have?
Can you take a picture and post it of your track connection and your power source?
What size wire (gauge or number) and type of wire did you use?
How long is that wire run?
The center pins may not be making good contact. I usually bend one end slightly with needle nose pliers so the pins slide tightly together. RICH
