I have a 394 beacon 152 crossing gate, 69 signal, 48w station, 115 station, 145 flagman mth 46 crossing gate and dorfan 70 crane. I'm powering the track with a BW 80. For crossing gates and signal and flagman is it best to use the 12v fixed to power them and just ground it at the fasttrack. I'm assuming everything else needs 14v witch I plan on using my pw ZW to power. Also what size wire would you use to supply the power to the accessoriez

I would not power the accessories from the track. Just power them to the 14v post on your transformer and if any of them do not work properly, then take a second look at it. 18-20 gauge wire should be fine unless the distance from the transformer to the accessory is very long.

I find that all accessories like a different voltage especially post war so I use those old small square Lionel transformers and adjust each one accordingly. sometimes more than one work well on the same voltage.
