Good news, I got a call yesterday (Sunday) afternoon from Trainpop. He's home, and doing well. I'd expect we'll see something on the forum from him to all his well wishers in the near future!

UPDATE:

I am back home and want to thank every one for their kind thoughts and prayers.  I had pneumonia and a blockage in one of the arteries of my heart.  They implanted a stent and things seem to be going in the right direction.

Again, my thanks to all of you who responded to this notice.

Trainpop.  I went through that in 1995, and am still chugging 26 years later.  So don't worry about the future.

Trainpop, please do everything your doctors tell you. All your friends are praying for a quick recovery.

Chuck “Trainpop”  Ambrogio is in hospice in Glen Burnie, MD.

The doctors give him days.

Please remember Chuck and his family in your prayers.

Will be keeping Chuck in my thoughts.  Always enjoyed chatting with him at York.  I pray for peace for him and his family and friends.

Very sad.....he is a great guy....definitely will keep him in my prayers.
