I was given a Pride Lines O gauge Hiawatha steam loco, it is a 4-4-4 steam loco manufactured by Pride lines as a tribute to the Lionel prewar O gauge version. I need a non geared driver, and a geared driver with the axle. Does anyone know if any parts are available anywhere for these locos? The motor looks like a tinplate Lionel reissue, but the drivers are unique in my limited experience. Any help appreciated. Thanks for reading.

Pride Lines parts are a problem, as is their mechanical quality in general. I replaced the motor and a lot of other parts on mine with Lionel and MTH parts from the Train Tender and elsewhere. I have a dead Pride Lines motor assembly I'll sell pretty cheap - the drivers and the armature are good, but the field coil is bad and would have to be repaired or rewound to use it as a motor. You could strip it for parts or have it rewound, depending on the relative condition compared to your existing motor. E-mail me if interested; the e-mail address is in my profile.
