Good morning, I was a day or 2 late renewing my Subscription and when I did it took 2 days to get put back on. I just noticed that all my Private messages are gone!

I hope someone that is in charge of this can fix it, since we are always being told to use the private messenger for off topic posts.

Mike @OGR might be able to recover your messages.

Hi Mike...thanks for posting this.  I will contact my "IT" guy (Rich Melvin) to see what is going on and if there is anything we can do about fixing this or at least let you know what happened.

Mike....I talked to Rich and he is out of town today.  He will be back either tonight or tomorrow and can take a look at this.  I did a little snooping around to see if I could replicate what I thought may have happened but could not.  I suspect that the short time your account was in read only mode, perhaps private messages went away?  In any case, if you don't mind, please private message one of your approved contacts and have them message you back as a test and then contact me directly at adman@ogaugerr.com (rather than here for now) and let me know if you can see your messages.  I'll respond back to you.  Thanks!

Hi Allen and Steve, thanks for trying and getting back to me. The page doesn't even give me an opportunity to send or receive a privet message.

Also it doesn't state that I am a digital subscriber.

Mike....check now and see if you have private messaging.  As you said above, the system had not updated yet (it does this a couple of times per week).  Rich got back to me and said your account had to be tagged with the DS role so I went in and manually did this instead of you waiting another day for it to do it automatically.

WOW Allen you seem to make things happen! I checked and everything is just like it was before! You have made my day and I cant thank you enough!

I am sorry if it was a bother on the weekend let alone Sunday. I really wasn't expecting a replay till tomorrow!
