Product # 6-11149 Lionmaster Big Boy
The engine chuff sounds fail, starting by sounding like the sounds are stuttering and then eventually quit. The time frame is sometimes 2 min. to a week. I will adjust the switch, sounds return, and the cycle starts again. I am beginning to think perhaps the problem is not the switch. There is a cap between the 2 contacts of the switch, could this be failing causing the symptoms? I am at a loss as to what to look for now. All other functions of the engine work fine, except when chuff fails then no chuff or squeal brakes. Could the issue possibly be the Cap. I cannot read the value of the Cap. It is a very small round disk shape. Any idea of its value? I have replaced the switch 2 times.
