Hi all, I have a Lionel Penn hh-12 6-18848. I am having a problem trying to program the TMCC ID number with my CAB1L. Here is the process I am trying. Please tell if I am doing something wrong:
* Take the cover off of the loco to expose the SND and PROG switches.
* Turn the switch on the engineer side to the PROG position.
* Put 18v to the track.
* Press the ENG button on the CAB1L
* Put in a number on the keypad such as 87
* Press the round button under the bottom cover of the CAB1L
At this point I would expect the horn to blow on the loco. Actually nothing happens. If I try to run this loc o by addressing it by ID 1 everything works fine. Can anyone give me sone help as to what I am doing wrong to try to program the TMCC ID?
