I'm close to finishing my new bedroom layout. There are 6 separate power blocks (2 ceiling layout, 2 mainlines at regular level, 1 elevated, 1 for the yard) each with a Lionel Powermaster. I bought the Powermasters on the aftermarket and all are working.
5 of them came with a connector with 2 black wires and a fuse (I believe) in line with the wire going to the hot side of the transformer. 1 of them came with a connector that fits the Powermaster (a pentagon-shaped terminal) but no fuse. The two wires are twisted and more rigid, might even be heavier, solid wire than the others.
I'm guessing I should spend $20 to get one with the embedded fuse but thought I'd ask here.
