For some reason, PS3 Engines can be easily added by the DCS system, but PS2 engines, it says "No engine found!"
The PS2 engines light come on but no sounds or headlights come on when on DCS power. When on conventional power, they power up just fine. Has anyone experienced this problem before? Im currently using the 14V fixed output from my Z4000. Id like to use 22 volts on the fixed input 1 of the DCS but heard it can only take 14 volts?

Hey Guys! looks like using 22 Volts on the fixed input 1 fixed the problem for now, was able to find some PS2 Engines. One more problem now, The train responds to commands like start up sound, Shut down sound, Coupler close, etc. However, the train doesn't move when I try to speed it up. Its still only moves when power is temporarily cut to the train. Whats the solution to this problem?

You are having trouble adding engines and then running them after they add. Any problem with DCS as long as it is somewhat functional should always start with doing a track signal test of the whole layout.  If you run multiple channels it will point out one that may not be up to par with the others. Good numbers usually equate to engines performing as they should. Good numbers and a few engines not performing well. It may be as simple as the engines wheels and rollers need a good cleaning.  No 2 layouts are the same size or wired the same way. What works on one may not necessarily work on another.  Everyone puts their own twist on how it’s done. If you have a bad track signal all kinds of weirdness will happen.
