The 4294 I have is a fully custom piped and detailed cab forward. Such detail was applied to the 4294 produced by Williams years ago. I used photos taken by a friend of mine that he shot at the California Rail museum. I did a post on all the mods on the engine and trucks some time ago. Unfortunately I had no clear picture of how the prototypes cab windows on the front were hung. Now I have them and believe I can reproduce these. Can't wait to get started. I hope what I do will be helpful to others that have a brass cab forward with no glass.
