I recently picked up an original 746 that had been close to a house fire causing all the original paint and decals to blister and have a very rough finish. I followed previous OGR posts and used easy-off to strip the paint off and get it to bare metal, then used rust-oleum primes & black semi-gloss paint baking at 175 degrees. It came out very nice-thank you OGR forums! My next question is decaling. I purchased the 746 self sticking decal strips, once applied should I leave as is or should I use a decal or clear coat spray to cover the shell again. If that is the case, do I bake the clear coat or simply air dry?
thanks
George
