In the manual for my DCS Remote Commander Page 7, Para 4 "RESET TO FACTORY DEFAULTS"

The manual states that a Reset to Factory Defaults can be done with : Full DCS System, a DCS Commander, OR

An MTH Transformer I e. Z-1000 Converntional Transformer with whistle and bell buttons.

Is this reset that same thing as resetting a DCS equipped engine by going into the menu and doing a

Factory Reset so that a DCS Remote Commander can recognise an engine?

An MTH Transformer I e. Z-1000 Converntional Transformer with whistle and bell buttons.

Unfortunately, a transformer reset is not a Factory Reset, rather it's a Feature Reset and will not do what you require.
