Afternoon All!
I have been doing some work on some solenoids for post war Lionel operating cars like the 3472 milk car, etc. When the wires are cracked from the coil, I carefully try to peel back the paper to get to the coil wire. I read on a previous post that brown packing tape with water activated glue can be used to wrap the coil in the event that the original wrap tears. I was wondering what the thoughts are on this.
Thanks,
Dennis
