QUICK VIDEO OF THE LIONEL NYC SHARKNOSE

Why is it  MTH and Lionel both omit the diaphragms on their  RF-16s?  And why not ABA units.  Beautiful locomotive though.

Hi Schumann you have a good question about the diaphragms, I can't answer

that,  maybe some of the pro's here on the forum could answer.

As for the B unit, it is available but I didn't purchase it.

These are beautiful units, but I am surprised that Lionel didn't paint this new set in NYC Gray with the lightning stripe instead of black because it just issued them five years ago in black with Legacy and basically same sound set and might of captured a bigger audience with a new variation. And I support and love Lionel all the way!!! I just don't understand the logic sometimes.

Hi Alex, I think the engine looks great but I have to admit that the diaphrames would add alot to the total effect.
