The group got together for a weekend of drinking beer and railfanning on the IHMD. We arrived at our usual hangout for this annual trip, staying at a nice resort called Cooters Corners, which is just west of the town of Trow Bridge.
Before the beer drinking started, I grabbed my video camera and went and shot a few videos.
First up was the afternoon Alaskan powered by a Northern Pacific A-3 class northern.
After the passenger train went through, a slow drag freight powered by a Great Northern M-2 went through Cooters.
The last train I shot for the afternoon was an ore drag powered by a Great Northern O-3 class mikado.
The group piled into the Sasquatch's Chevy Nomad and headed over to a new restaurant we found, Kegel's Inn. More beer, some goulash, and a lot of laughs filled the evening.
The next batch of videos will show a new railfanning spot we found, under a newly built overpass at Trowbridge Avenue.
Regards,
Jerry
