I noticed that on one of the MTH Coors Light Silver Bullet engines that I own and run a lot, that the rear steps are missing.  I was unsure of where the steps are positioned on the rear of the engine, and if there is just one set or if there are two sets.  I went to look at a second MTH Coors Light Silver Bullet engine that I own, which is new,  and there were no steps; now I am uncertain if steps were included in all of the engines.  I am hoping that a forum member can take a very clear picture(s) of the rear of the engine, so that I can see where the steps go and whether there is one set or two sets of steps.  Also, did any forum member receive an engine without steps?

Thank you, Janet Mattern (TCA and LCCA member)

Thank you for the picture showing no steps.  I am thinking that the first engines did have steps in the rear and the ones manufactured later did not based on the fact that my second engine--again, it is new--does not.  I do know that the engine I currently run did have at least one set of steps because I reattached them at one point in time.

Hello Guy.  The engine/set that I run was preordered and I know had at least one set of steps; and from your response, I now know that it had two sets of steps.  As I mentioned, I believe that engines made later do not have any steps based on the fact that I picked up my second engine from my dealer about a year later and, now the reply from AMCDAVE seems to confirm this.  I hope forum members continue to chime in on this matter.

Janet
