Out of grandpop's old movie collection, no date but guessing from the 1950's, coal run heading from the Reading coal mines to Port Clinton.

VERY NICE!!!!
I notice that your #2100 does not have the Reading Railroad "diamond" logo on the from of the air pumps shield. Also, that whistle sure does not sound like a Reading freight "peanut" whistle, that the T1s all carried in the regular steam era.
Very neat find! Thanks for sharing.

Very nice video. I was up to Port Clinton in September of 2016 after going to the Reading Company Historical & Technical site in Hamburg PA.

Please note that the 2100 class T-1s pictured below circa 1950s do not have Reading diamonds on their fronts. As for the whistle, it may be worthwhile to recognize that Lionel was modeling T-1s in iterations that have existed and continue to exist over a half century. They had to choose a sound file that would suit this broad range of models. Understandably, they selected a valid whistle sound that was also thrilling to hear when operating the models. Lionel's new T-1 is not perfect (what is?), but it is pretty darned nice. I am really enjoying mine.
Nice video, Bill.

Bill, you made my date. Also my former neighbor Herbie Hurt was the engineer on 2100 for the Rambles. He passed away in the 70s, God rest his soul.
Beautiful!
