Here come the FMs:

Mock up and measurements...

imageimageimageimage

I was going to try and get away without having a spacer at all, and just drop the frame 0.180", but from all the pictures I've seen the step spacing is equal, so I'll need an 0.080" spacer to bring them so. And then drop the frame 0.100".

Lionel did a great job on the pilots, so see through!

Good news.

If you lower the frame using the standard method. I use a fiber washer under the mount like we've done before. And use the spacer, which sets the steps a equal spacing, the bottom of the pilot sits at the trip pin height. This is what I normally design.

This is also as far back as the coupler can sit because of the anticlimber. Which is taken from scale drawings. The tab on the front of the coupler box and the trip pin will have to be removed, as well as any trip pin on the car right behind the engine. Because of the point on the pilot.

I believe we are ready to go...
