I have to say that I am a big fan of street running. And despite not so much space on my layout, I try to realize a small street running segment on it. I startet the work on it almost some weeks ago and want to show you the progress with some pics:

The next step will be to paint the markings and to get some dirt on the street.

Lars, thanks for the link.

These cars are pricey.  I was looking at the Honda Prelude and BMW Z4 M, each going for 60.95 Euro, converted to the US dollar that would be approx. $80 for one car.

But I have to say, the details are impressive and they seem to really fit your city layout.

In looking at the other pictures, I wonder, if railfans are living there, they may be lucky to have those trains running by their homes.

Hi Lars, Hi all

Your layout looks really great !

I am a newcomer in O gauge US RR models (prev. experiences in french N, HO, and US HO). I have few basic questions: what is the brand of your switcher, of your freight cars and are your buildings scratchbuilt or do they come from kits ?

Keep posting such nice inspiring pictures.

My layout is based off in the 90s. I like the "modern" railroad more than the classic one. I have some more photos of the higway overpass for you as well as of the grain elevator:

I want to come back to you with some new pictures of the small street running scene on my layout. In the next months I will extend this section. Of course I will inform you about the progress.

Thanks for sharing your beautifully executed modelling. Can you please tell me what brand and code of track you are using?

Hi Daryl.

I am using the Atlas Code 148 flex track and Switches. The Atlas track is available in Germany without problems.
