I have a TIU Rev L and when I turn it on the led that tells me that power is on and what the TIU address is. However also I have a red flash or flashes from the interior of the TIU from the opposite end from the led is located. Sometimes is it more then one and when I want to reset the remote it says TIU out of range.

There is one other LED that lights and goes out. Not sure about more than one though. Not sure what resetting remote has to do with TIU out of range? Is the TIU address the same as the remote TIU address added to the remote? Normally a reset of remote would put the remote looking for TIU #1. If your TIU address is something other than #1, remote can't talk to it. Need to add the TIU address to the remote. G
If the second LED is flashing, that would indicate for whatever reason, the TIU is going through continuous resets. I can't think of any reason, other than a hardware failure, that would happen.
Gunnerjohn and GGG thanks for the replies. In all I read I didn't know there was a second led in the Rev L TIU. The Rev. L only flashes once in the interior.
