Just a reminder to double check that all of your York reservations have been cancelled. Especially if you may have booked multiple hotels when you were looking for better rates or locations. You don’t want to pay for that room and not get the enjoyment of being at York. It’s unfortunate that we have to do this instead of enjoying our friends and trains. Oh well, April will be here before we know it.....see you than.

Thanks for the timely reminder. And it's not too early to book cancellable reservations for April.
Yikes. Thanks I had forgotten the car reservation and just got that cancelled! Appreciate it.

April reservations were made a few months ago. I'm just one week away from booking my Oct. 2021 hotel room. (Year in advance booking window)
LOL never made them... April's either. Maybe I knew something was up. Holding off on Aprils again. I'd be surprised if the April York will be well attended.
I made a reservation for April, but it is one I can cancel until the last day. We'll see what happens when we get closer. I guess I'm an optimist.

Don't get me wrong I am optimistic that it will happen but I see a lower attendance just because of the last few months. I'm not worried about being able to find a room is all I'm sayin'. There are way too many willing to spread the doom and gloom.
I don't doubt that it'll be lightly attended, and I wonder how many vendors and members would actually show up. I guess we'll see come April...
The Hampton Inn in Shrewberry had already cancelled everyone's reservation that was coming in for the TCA.

I'm not even bothering to book a room as there will be plenty to choose from if there is a York in the Spring. My worst case scenario is staying in Gettysburg with my son. If it's safe enough to have a York it will be safe for visitors to be allowed on campus and I'll crash overnight in his dorm room - he has a single room, being autistic. Actually, my worst case scenario is just driving up for the day.
