I am using a remote with 4.2 version software. If I buy another with version 4.3, can I clone it to match version 4.2? I have absolutely no problems with my present version and would like to stay with it until bugs are fixed in the newer versions.

If there's any doubt, you could load 4.20 into the second remote, then it's not an issue.
Thanks John. I should have checked to see if I could still download it.
I shouldn't speak so fast, I can't find 4.20 now on the MTH site.
If you decide to go that way and can't find it, I can email it to you.
The version in all remotes and the version in all TIUs should be the same.
John,
I have 4.2 TIU, Remote
email in profile.
I knew they needed to be the same. I wanted to know if I could downgrade one instead of upgrading the one that works fine for me.
No problem. I have done it for software testing.
Bruce,
I don,t see an email in your profile.
RJR, John,
Thanks for the help
John gunnerman check your email!
Thanks alan
Upgrade everything.
Marty I bought my tiu from MTH threw my local LHS, it went bad under warranty, so after I got it back it worked perfectly ,but MTH had updated it to 4.3, after I tried using the signal with the remote it would lockup, every time I would try to due a signal test. that's why I wanted to bring it back to 4.2 like the TIU was when I bought it originally. after I reloaded 4.2 in my TIU everything worked perfectly again including the signal test.
Thanks Marty for the recommendations.
ALL UPDATES SHOULD BE THE SAME, I'll probably try 4.31 went they finally get the bugs worked out .I'll update everything then remote's and TIU!
Again Thanks
Alan
