Just got an email from Walter at RMT. He says 0-31 and 0-72 switches are ready to order online. If I remember, it has been years since these switches were available.

Jeff Metz...Thanks. You will not be disappointed. They are great switches.

Am I guessing correctly that they are "O" and NOT O-27?
thanks - walt
These are O gauge switches for 031 and 072 track. However with some adapter pins these could be used with 027, Gargraves adapter pins to O gauge then a short piece of Gargraves track then Gargraves adapter pins to 027 track.
However Gargraves switches will work with 027 track, just need Gargraves 027 adapter pins.
I asssume this is a clearance problem with 027 switches by Lionel?
I gutted an old 027 switch from Lionel, because there was no way it would work without major money and a total restoration of the switch, mounted a DZ-1000 switch machine on the 027 switch platform and it works great, just had to adjust the switch throw on the DZ-1000.

Ordered some of the RMT 072 Super Snap switches for my layout, looking forward to seeing them in action.

When it comes to tubular track, Super Snap was always my favorite in terms of looks. It's nice to see it back.
PRR Bruce and fredswain...appreciate your comments. With the amiount of interest, these switches were really anticipated!

Walt,
I'm not sure if the height of Super Snap Track is O-27 or O-Gauge. I'll be using all Super Snap Track, so no worries about any transition pieces.
Perhaps Walter M. Matuch from RMT will pipe in with the correct answer for you.
Bruce
walt rapp...RMT Super Snap track is basically same height elevation as 0 Gauge tubular track...see attached photos. Rail is also higher profile than 0-27.
And also...the new Woodside Reefers and Tank Cars and Stock Cars have arrived too.
Thanks.

An actual Motor driven machine or Solenoid driven?
Hey Walter.....On a side note, Any idea when the Bethlehem Steel Water Tower will be available?
Strogey...looks like December at this point. Alot of new stuff finally arriving. Watch for RMT email if you have signed up to receive them.
Thanks.
