Repainting a MTH Premier Wedge Snow Plow

Anybody out there ever redecorate one ( ex. the 20-98208 PRR) of these cars (ex. to a more wanted line) ? I am about to start such a project and the parts diagram looks reasonably easy, but wondering if there are any hidden problems or helpful "tricks" with dis and re-assembling these cars.
