Repair of K-Line motor control boards (S2 & MP-15)

Hi All,

I seem to recall a discussion on how to repair these boards that only want to go in one direction but of course I can't find it now...

Can someone point me to or provide the repair guidance on which board components to replace to make a defective K-Line MP-15 / S2 motor control board fully functional?
