This may not belong here but I am working on a project and my can of Pullman Green has given out. The colors from Testors just are not close to what I need. What if any is a replacement. BTW, I do not own an airbrush and will probably not purchase one for this project. A rattlecan would be my best option or I will leave the model as Testors dark green.

I have about 4 Pullman greens including Floquil, Poly Scale, Tru Color, and Scalecoat. None of them match each other nor any of the manufacturers cars including Lionel, MTH, and K-Line. You will have punt here.

Even Dupont had more than a dozen "Pullman Green" colors in the specification list. The most common, in my opinion was the same "dark green" used by the Great Northern Rwy. I believe Scalecoat makes the better version of THAT.
Thanks all, back to the hobby shop on the way home to see if they have anything else in stock instead of the Model Masters stuff. If not punt it is.
I have an article from Matt Snell published in an old Ho mag gone defunct called Model Railroad. In his article about painting Conrail O C S #9 he used Foquil DLGE to match the dark MTH "Pullman Green"
If you have a sample of the color you want, find a good auto parts supply / paint store, they should be able to match the color in a rattle can for you.
Thanks for the responses. I have about a dozen different diesel locomotives in the CNJ green with stripes, Williams, Lionel, Atlas plus one someone painted on their own. None of these including the three Atlas locos match each other that closely. I found a paint that is close enough and am working on the cnj yellow striping as time permits. Won't be the best paint job but won't be the worst either. I figure a bit of weathering after all is said and done will make this a passable loco.
