Some time ago I rewired a couple of my Fastrack controllers so that the green LED is illuminated in the "out" position, as that is the main line position on my layout.

Just now installing a few ERR Switch Commanders and would like to reverse their operation as well. Anyone know the color code on the wiring harness so I can accomplish this? I want the "through" position on the Cab-1L to put the switch in the "out" position.

Thanks again

Yes, those are the colors of the cable going to the Fastrack Controller, but I am asking about the cable that connects the Switch Commander to the control board within the switch proper. Colors in that cable are Yellow, Black, Brown and Red.

Now that I look at it the instructions show Orange, Gray, Black and Red, which is not how my units are built!

Thanks again!

I am not concerned with the position reporting, but the position control. Of course I can try to reverse engineer the boards and watch with an oscilloscope as I press buttons on the Cab-1L, but I am getting OFL (Old, Fat and Lazy.) I may call ERR Monday if I don't get it figured out over the weekend.

What I meant was no matter the colors, just look at where the wires are in the connector. I just looked at a (stock) switch TMCC controller and the OUT command is the left most wire on the connector (which is yellow in the picture). The THRU command is the next wire (which is blue in the picture).

Is that what you want to swap so that when you push thru on the CAB2, the switch TMCCoutputWiresgoes to out, and when you push out, it goes to thru?

Yes I see that it's different...

On the switch board itself, your picture, it's the two middle wire positions on the 6 pin connector. Just hold a wire with your fingers and pull slightly when you lift the little plastic tab on the plug. They slide right out. Then push them in appropriately oriented and they will stay. I press the little plastic tabs down to make sure.
