MTH Premier 20-96069 NYC 8000 gallon tankcar
This MTH model is a nicely detailed 8000 gallon tankcar lettered for NYC. The paint scheme is one of the later versions used prior to the Penn-Central merger. Looking for prototype photos of this NYC car if they exist. Not certain the NYC ever used this car.
The model includes sprung Rollerbearing style trucks. The model includes DOT "placards".

This model is any early version of the car. This car has been recently updated by MTH to include revised details.
Since this tank car carries a flammable liquid appropriate DOT "placard" details are shown.
