Ok, being a rookie at this even though I have been messing with Tmcc and DCS for a couple of years. I am still truly a beginner. Question being, can Legacy engines be run in a lash up using Tmcc cab1? or do I need Legacy control? All I need is to lash up Legacy engines with the basic control and just Bell and Horn sounds,

Since you're running with a CAB1, just use the same procedure as with TMCC locomotives.
Will I still have cruise control, bell and horn?
Yep, Legacy Odyssey II is on unless specifically disabled. It also works in conventional mode. You'll have bell, horn (or whistle), crew talk, couplers, etc. You don't have access to some of the fancy features of certain Legacy models, but normal running is fine with the old CAB1.
Thank you so much for the quick help. I look forward to running my new Legacy’s.
Be aware that when using a Cab-1, Legacy locomotives will be set to 32 speed steps "out of the box." You can change this by addressing the locomotive and using the hidden buttons under the cover at the bottom of the Cab-1. Pressing "L" sets the locomotive to 32 speed steps and no momentum, pressing "M" gives it 100 speed steps and no momentum and pressing "H" gives it 100 speed steps with momentum. Once set, the speed steps/momentum will remain in effect until changed. I set my Legacy locomotives to "M" for what that is worth.
Good tip Bob, I should have mentioned that.
Thanks for the heads up tip BOB. I would have not known that.
