S-2 Engine Identification.

So I'm guessing they did revision to these boards since that manual was written?  For instance, in the manual, the smoke unit should have an on-off switch, whereas mine has a pot. Also, that manual doesn't show the oiler linkage, which is on my engine.

Yes, what you are seeing happens occasionally and is fairly common.  They sometimes use older photos (the original PS1 version did not have the oiler linkage).  They will also sometimes cut and paste descriptions from other engines with the same operating electronics package and not update some things that might have changed as the electronics and setups evolved over time.
