I heard a pair of MoPac FA's showed up in Iola on a transfer run, so I hurried down to snag a picture of them:
While it wasn't a particularly hot day, there suddenly appeared to be some heat distortion, but it wasn't like any heat distortion I had ever seen before. I was so perplexed, I almost forgot to snap a picture of it:
Suddenly, it looked like something was trying to appear within the distortion. Stan and Kyle appeared to be nonplussed by the the goings on. Was I hallucinating?:
When the distortion cleared away, this thing appeared. It said both Missouri Pacific AND Union Pacific on it's side. Was this a vision of the future or just a mad dream? It sure looked real enough, though.
As I stood there dumbfounded, someone tapped me on the shoulder and said I better clear out, FAST. Apparently, these two guys were seen on the property...
So I hopped in my car and took off without looking back.
