Today, my wife and I walked from 2nd and King Streets, down the Embarcadero to nearly the end of Fisherman's Wharf...and back in San Francisco ( about 8.5 miles roundtrip). We toured the USS Pompanito World War II submarine and the SS Jeremiah O'Brien Liberty Ship. We had a wonderful lunch at Lou's Fish Shack. Along the hike there was a cavalcade of colorful, vintage PCC Streetcars. The San Francisco Municipal Railway acquired and restored each of these streetcars and they run regularly on several of their lines. I tried to catch each one. These were the ones I was able to photograph (not in order):
1007 - Philadelphia Suburban Transportation Co.
1010 - San Francisco Municipal Railway, 1940's Livery
1057 - Cincinnati Street Railway Co.
1009 - Dallas Railway & Terminal Co.
1061 - Pacific Electric, Los Angeles
1071 - Twin Cities Lines, Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN
1006 - San Franciso Municipal Railway, 1950's Livery
