Santa Fe DL-110 Powered B Unit

Does the MTH #20-2223 Premier Santa Fe DL-110 Powered B Unit have a battery in it.I opened up the Powered A Unit and it has a battery in it.I ask because I can't seem to be able to get 2 of the screws out without maybe stripping them.Any info would help.Thank You

If you go to MTH Website and put DL-110 in search box you will find the 20-2223-3 Santa Fe Powered B unit. As per the parts sheet there is no battery.
