UPDATED 11/23/15 (see lower posts for updated photos)

Our Santa Fe railroad themed lounge car train room is taking shape.  My sister calls it "the train" man cave.

The bar top and kick plate will be stainless steel...that is currently being worked on.  But I took these pics to show what it is looking like:

The chairs are actual Budd lounge car chairs.  And the Kachina style wall medallion is from a Santa Fe Hi-Level step-up coach.

The O scale layout is to the left of the first pic (currently covered).

Here is a link to a very large photo if you are interested:

How wonderful? The upholstery for the chairs is perfect...Table is great with it's period magazine...and the obligatory smoke stand. The bar will be great too, no doubt. I envision barware and bottles, glassware and such filling it out. Bit of a pain I'm sure, but I love the radius corner detail. Please keep us posted, can hardly wait for updates.

Thanks all for the really nice comments.

How and where did you find the actual Budd chairs?

I found these at a movie prop warehouse in Van Nuys California.  They were not exactly sure where they came from as it had been some time.  But the story was they came from a car that Amtrak gutted in the early 1970s.
