For the life of my layout, I have never run a train that was not powered by a Santa Fe engine.
My latest addition is an A-B-A consist of ALCO PA-1's manufactured by the good folks at Rapido.
These are by far the most beautiful locomotives I have ever owned. In addition, the sound package on the LOC decoders is spectacular!
Pictures and Video to follow...
Was able to grab a couple pictures of my ALCO's

As I mentioned in an earlier post, there has never been a train on my layout that was not powered by a Santa Fe engine(s). Here is another example.

Nice video, Jim. I like your SF El Cap. Did you switch to HO, or are these 2-rail O? Your trains and layout are done to such perfection, I can’t tell. 🤔
Hi Vern, I switched to HO about 5 years ago.

Very well. 👍
Since I won't be home on Sunday (selling Santa Fe locomotives at the DuPage Train Show) I thought I would post a video today.
I will post early again this week. I will be too busy on Easter with a family dinner.
Happy Easter Everybody.
I call this one Heavy Traffic.
Santa Fe Chief meets Western Pacific California Zephyr at Paradise California. Well, at one time in reality these two passenger trains would have met between Oakland and Sacramento California.
Happy Santa Fe Sunday!
You have to love an ALCo PA in any paint scheme, but it's always special in a Warbonnet.
Also reminiscing about the days I did all of Sunset's painting diagrams myself. They say the only way to be promoted is to train your replacement and Mrs. Wong in Asia is an excellent graphic designer. These days I just check her work. However, I still jump in a draw a diagram every now than then when required. The other side of project management for me is to always retain the skills that got you there in the first place!
FT in progress from about 2014???? It's been a while.

She is a beauty Patrick.
I have 2 ps3 powered As , 1 nonpowered A and a nonpowered B all with the stainless panels .....but they are F7s. Really like my other locomotives but when I unpacked these Santa Fes I really admired these art pieces.
Definitely eye candy Patrick . Especially nice looking on your great layout. Have a ball running them. Nice.
E8m number 82 leads eastbound train number 12, The Chicagoan.

Santa Fe ALCO A-B-A PA's blow thru the grade crossing. Turn up your volume to get the FULL DOPPLER EFFECT. Rapido sound packages are awesome!
Yes I know that I am a day late, but Sunday slipped by too fast. Here is some Santa Fe rolling stock. a "Shock Control" chemical tanker and an Hopper. That's it for me, no beautiful war bonnet loco's today.
Best Wishes

No big thing Don. I miss posting many times . Sometimes it takes me a lot to just keep up with the emails from the forum. ( no beautiful war bonnet locos.....?.........if they show up too often it could get boring seeing them )
OK, its not Sunday. Being off today made it feel like it was Sunday. Anyways, happy Independence Day.
You guys, Santa Fe Sunday on a Wednesday?? I mean, what’s the world coming to? 🤔 So come on, let’s keep it accurate. Geez .

Either the Santa Fe unit somehow made its way to Idaho or the BN unit made its way to California.
Don't know about the time frame or territory for these two to get together WB but it somehow seems a little more prototypical to my eyes.

Not saying being retired ,like myself, leaves an absence of ' work ' ( ) to do WB ...........but every day feels like Saturday to me.
( Sunday is a designated day for the celebration of Mass )
