Does anyone know how to turn on and off the strobe light on top of the cab of an Burlington Northern SD-40?

Do you have the part number? MTH or Lionel?
It's Lionel Legacy. 1933081
Maybe this would help?
I don't have a problem with the cab light. It's the orange strobe light that I am asking about. It sits on top of the cab (see picture).
Look at the part where gunrunnerjohn give the instructions to restore the feature
The link he posted comes up "page not found" and the instructions he provided simply change the locomotive from Legacy to TMCC. Not the blinking strobe light instructions
Your reply just says "Image not Found". I found the answer. It will only flash when you push the emergency stop button. It will stay on until you restart the locomotive. Thanks for trying to help. Maybe you found it too, I can't tell from what you have sent to me. Thanks again.

The instructions in that post were not to change to TMCC, they were to program an early Legacy properly for diesel operation. However, the your engine is a later model with the RCMC electronics, so that doesn't apply.
Thanks gunrunner! It is found in the instructions on the page describing the controls of the handheld remote. There is not a section in the written description describing its operation.
I have the same locomotive which I operate with tmcc. While the unit is in operation I hit the #5 button on the cab-1 controller. There is some hyper "emergency stop" announcing and the strobe light atop the cab blinks. The strobe light continues to function until the locomotive is stopped.
Yes, thank you. I found out the answer to the original question as stated in the reply just before your information. Thanks for helping.
