I've removed the shell (6 screws) and the screw mounting the motor truck to the motor but the truck won't release!!
What am I doing wrong. My goal it to replace a broken electrocoupler.

Right, because there is MORE than one screw specific to that series of motor trucks.
Looks like you removed #54 screw, but also there is #57 part of the electrical pickup system.
The motor mount with the tab that other screw goes through

Again, #54 screw comes up from the bottom and threads into the motor mount, however, it also appears there is a second screw #57 from the top and the insulators and wiring in the long tab of the engine mount.
I don't see screw #57. Any suggestions?
Just found this on the workbench! Where do it go?
There is black sticky tape along the frame. What is its function?

Screw #57 is the one that the pickup wire is connected to, it shouldn't be hard to find.
