selling used track

I am switching back to Ho trains and have a decent amount of Atlas track and early Lionel fast track. I'd hate to throw out perfectly good track. It has been used and ballasted but can be cleaned up and continued to be used. Is it worthwhile to sell used track? I could put the money to my new ho trains.
