You should be good. One of the reason Dale quit making the MANCO serial boosters was that the SER2 could make up for the problems the Legacy base had with too many devices hanging off it

If I understand your question correctly, I do do not believe you need the SER2 for your set up.  The Legacy Base, while it does not send as strong a signal as the TMCC Base, should drive your DZ-2001.  Just disconnect the serial cable from the TMCC Base and connect it to the Legacy Base.

The SER2 has the same style driver as the old TMCC base, likely that's the solution.

Plug the ser2 into the legacy base and then run the data wire driver off of it and also the bpcs as well.

You're welcome. If your just interested in running the items you already have and not so much adding the LCS system I have the Manco serial booster that Dave sold. It's new (I've never used it). I think it sold new for 40.00, I'll sell it for 30.00 shipped if you're interested. I bought it for future expansion and that didn't happen as quickly as I thought it would.
